At the end of the day, Ibiza Vote is a competition... Everyone should try to get as many people to vote for them as possible! When you consider that there is over 1,000,000 people on the island at any one time during peak season. this shouldn't be too hard an ordeal.

However, to make things a little easier we have put together some top tips to get as many votes as possible!

Spread awareness by making a Facebook Group or Facebook Page

Create a Facebook Group or Facebook Page (or both!). The name is very important as it must be both engaging and obvious; perhaps call it something like "Even your dog would Vote for Cafe Mambo to win Best Sunset Bar! Ibiza Vote 2010!". Once you have picked a suitable name then you need to add photos, videos and an interesting description. After you have done that then you are almost there!

Now all you need to do is to invite everyone you know to this Facebook Group or Facebook Page. To do this... click the button that says 'Invite people to join' or 'Suggest to friends'. When the Invite/Suggest dialog box pops up (with your friends profile photos in it), enter this code into your browser's address bar and press enter:

This will select ALL of your friends. Then click invite!

Once everyone has seen that you are asking for their votes it is important for you to keep them involved with your brand. Talk conversationally on this group or page even ask questions of your audience. If people are not voting - don't be scared to ask them why!

Spread awareness by renaming a Facebook Group

Instead of doing the above, you could alternatively just rename one of the current groups that you currently administer. This will send a notification to all of the members telling them that you have renamed the group. If you rename the group to be "IMPORTANT - Please Vote for Cafe Mambo to win Best Sunset Bar on Ibiza Vote 2010" then people will respond.

Spread awareness by adding an Ibiza Vote sticker to your site (Website/Blog/Myspace)

This is very easy as we have done pretty much all of the work for you! All you need to do is to copy and paste this code into your website's main template file (often called index.php or index.html). Do this just after the tag for the best results.

The only thing you need to add is your company's specific URL for example: http://www.ibizavote.com/Shows/Bar/Aura. Please do this before adding to your site.
